Certified fire rated glazed screens for West Midlands
Throughout West Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton, we survey, quote and fit fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
Which rules apply in West Midlands?
Fire doors in West Midlands sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Guide prices in West Midlands
Expect roughly £1,400–£4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens, fitted, ex VAT. Your West Midlands quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
