School fire doors in West Midlands: how we work
We supply and fit school fire doors across West Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
What the law says in West Midlands
Because West Midlands is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
School fire doors prices in West Midlands
Our guide for school fire doors is £1,100–£2,400 per doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for West Midlands are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
