What affects the price of a fire door?
- Rating: FD60 and longer ratings need thicker, heavier doorsets.
- Size: made-to-measure doorsets for non-standard openings cost more than standard sizes.
- Glass: vision panels add cost; insulating fire glass costs more than integrity-only glass.
- Finish: real-wood veneers and special colours cost more than paint-grade or laminate.
- Hardware: security ratings, access control, hold-open devices and panic hardware.
- Access: high floors without lifts, restricted parking and out-of-hours working.
What's included
Guide prices include the certified doorset with standard ironmongery, installation, removal and disposal of the old door where it is a replacement, and a handover record. VAT is added at the standard rate.
Why we don't quote leaf-only prices
A fire door's certification covers the complete doorset. A cheap leaf hung in an untested frame can fail inspection and need replacing again, so we price complete doorsets only.
Are fire door prices fixed?
Yes, once we've surveyed. Guide prices here are ranges; your quote lists a fixed price for each door.
Do prices include VAT?
No. All prices on this site exclude VAT, which is added at the standard rate.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We fit single doors as well as full-building programmes.
