What we collect
- Details you send through our forms or guide price tool: name, phone, email, postcode, building type, number of doors and your message.
- Messages you send by email, phone, WhatsApp or live chat.
- If you accept analytics cookies, anonymised usage data from Google Analytics.
How we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Analytics data is used only with your consent.
Who we share it with
We share your details only with people who help us deliver the service: S&K Group companies and installers working under S&K who carry out your survey or installation, and service providers that process data on our behalf — Web3Forms (form delivery), Netlify (website hosting), our email provider, Tawk.to (live chat, where enabled) and Google (analytics, only with consent). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Records for work we carry out are kept for as long as needed for guarantees, fire safety records and legal obligations, usually up to seven years.
Cookies
This site uses no analytics cookies unless you accept them in the cookie banner. If live chat is enabled, Tawk.to may set cookies needed for the chat to work. You can change your analytics choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
