Getting timber fire doors fitted in West Midlands
Our West Midlands service covers timber fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton.
Fire door rules in West Midlands
Because West Midlands is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in West Midlands
Budget around £750 to £1,600 per single doorset for timber fire doors supplied and fitted in West Midlands, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
