Who we are
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits certified fire doorsets across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. We are part of the S&K Group, a Birmingham-based construction and property group, and our work is carried out by S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, which contracts with you and invoices the job.
What we do
We survey your doors, propose a certified doorset for each opening, give you a fixed and itemised quote, and fit each doorset to the manufacturer's instructions. Installation is carried out by installers working under S&K. At handover you receive a door-by-door record with each doorset's certificate reference.
What we claim — and what we don't
Fire door certification belongs to the manufacturer's tested doorset and the certification body that audits it. We don't claim to hold product certification ourselves, and we don't display accreditation logos we haven't earned. What we promise is simpler: every doorset we quote has third-party certification you can check, and the reference is on your quote before anything is ordered.
Where a doorset's certificate requires installation by a third-party certificated installer, we confirm the installer's scheme and certificate number in writing before booking.
