Fire-Rated Screens & Fanlights for Kingswinford buildings
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Kingswinford, we provide fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Where possible we combine Kingswinford surveys with other visits in West Midlands, such as Brierley Hill and Stourbridge, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
What the law says in Kingswinford
Fire doors in Kingswinford sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in West Midlands
Guide prices for fire rated glazed screens in Kingswinford run from about £1,400 to £4,500 per screen, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
