Getting fire door installation fitted in West Midlands
Our West Midlands service covers fire door installation for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton.
What the law says in West Midlands
Fire doors in West Midlands sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do fire door installation cost in West Midlands?
Our guide price for fire door installation in West Midlands is £750 to £1,150 per FD30 doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
