Fire rated glazed screens in Bartley Green: how we work
We fit fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights in Bartley Green and the rest of West Midlands. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Bartley Green is about 5 miles from Birmingham; we cover both, along with Halesowen, Smethwick and Birmingham.
Which rules apply in Bartley Green?
In Bartley Green, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
