Our Walsall supply and fit service
Getting fire rated glazed screens right in Walsall means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
We cover WS1 and the surrounding area, including Bloxwich. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Fire door rules in Walsall
In Walsall, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in Walsall
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Walsall, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.

Fire rated glazed screens in Walsall: questions
Can you work around tenants or staff in Walsall?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Is the survey in Walsall free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Walsall?
Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.
Steel or timber screens?
Both are available. Timber matches timber doorsets; steel suits slim sightlines and higher ratings.
