Getting FD60 fire doors fitted in Gwent
Our Gwent service covers FD60 fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Newport, Cwmbran and Pontypool.
What the law says in Gwent
In Gwent the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
FD60 fire doors prices in Gwent
Expect roughly £1,050–£1,650 per single doorset for FD60 fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Gwent quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
