Fire Door Ironmongery & Closers for Gwent buildings
Throughout Gwent, including Newport, Cwmbran and Pontypool, we survey, quote and fit fire door closers, hinges and hold-open devices as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
Fire door rules in Gwent
In Gwent the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
What do fire door closers and ironmongery cost in Gwent?
Expect roughly £120–£500 per item for fire door closers and ironmongery, fitted, ex VAT. Your Gwent quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
