Fire doors across Gwent
Across Gwent we handle fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
Gwent centres on Newport's city centre and council estates, with Cwmbran, Pontypool and the valleys towns adding schools and industry.
Fire door rules in Gwent
In Gwent the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
