What the law says in Gwent

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies in Wales, covering workplaces and the common parts of multi-occupied residential buildings, including flat entrance doors.
Composite fire doors prices in Gwent
Expect roughly £1,200–£2,200 per door for composite fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Gwent quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.

Your questions answered
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
How quickly can you survey in Gwent?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Gwent. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Are composite fire doors safe?
A composite door with current third-party certification for its configuration is as reliable as any other certified fire door. Ask for the certificate reference — we provide it on every quote.
