Fire-Rated Screens & Fanlights for Gwent buildings
We supply and fit fire rated glazed screens across Gwent, including Newport, Cwmbran and Pontypool. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
Which rules apply in Gwent?
In Gwent the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in Gwent
Guide prices for fire rated glazed screens in Gwent run from about £1,400 to £4,500 per screen, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
