Fire rated glazed screens in Caerphilly: how we work
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Caerphilly, we provide fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Our Gwent coverage includes Caerphilly and its neighbours Risca, Pontypridd and Cardiff; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Caerphilly?
In Caerphilly the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.

Common questions in Gwent
Do you cover Caerphilly?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire rated glazed screens throughout Caerphilly and the rest of Gwent, including CF83 and nearby Risca.
What does a Caerphilly quote include?
Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.
Is the survey in Caerphilly free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
