Questions about fire rated glazed screens in Newport, Gwent
Can you work around tenants or staff in Newport, Gwent?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Can you fit just one door in Newport, Gwent?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Gwent.
Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Newport, Gwent?
Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
