Fire door rules in Cwmbran
In Cwmbran the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.

How quickly can you survey in Cwmbran?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Cwmbran visits with other work in Gwent. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Cwmbran?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Cwmbran?
