Timber Fire Doorsets for Leicestershire buildings
We supply and fit timber fire doors across Leicestershire, including Leicester, Loughborough and Hinckley. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
Regulations for timber fire doors in Leicestershire
In Leicestershire, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do timber fire doors cost in Leicestershire?
Budget around £750 to £1,600 per single doorset for timber fire doors supplied and fitted in Leicestershire, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.

Your questions answered
Can you fit just one door?
Yes — from a single door to a full building.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
How quickly can you survey in Leicestershire?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Leicestershire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can a timber fire door be trimmed on site?
Only within the limits the manufacturer's evidence allows, usually a few millimetres. We prefer made-to-measure doorsets so no trimming is needed.
