Fire doors across Shropshire
Our Shropshire service covers fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Telford, Shrewsbury and Wellington.
Shropshire runs from Telford's modern industrial estates to Shrewsbury's historic centre and rural care and hospitality buildings.
Fire door rules in Shropshire
Fire doors in Shropshire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.

Questions about fire doors in Shropshire
Do you cover the whole of Shropshire?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire doors across Shropshire, including Telford, Shrewsbury and Wellington.
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Shropshire?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Shropshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Is the survey free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
