Fire doors across Herefordshire
Throughout Herefordshire, including Hereford, we survey, quote and fit certified fire doorsets as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
Herefordshire is largely rural, with demand from Hereford's city centre, schools, care homes and converted agricultural and period buildings.
Fire door rules in Herefordshire
Fire doors in Herefordshire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.

Questions about fire doors in Herefordshire
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
How quickly can you survey in Herefordshire?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Herefordshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you fit just one door?
Yes — from a single door to a full building.
