Getting flat entrance fire doors fitted in Shropshire
Across Shropshire we handle flat entrance fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
What the law says in Shropshire
Fire doors in Shropshire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Flat entrance fire doors prices in Shropshire

Common questions in Shropshire
Which rules apply in Shropshire?
Doors are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
How quickly can you survey in Shropshire?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Shropshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Do you cover the whole of Shropshire?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit flat entrance fire doors across Shropshire, including Telford, Shrewsbury and Wellington.
Can I fit my own new front door to my flat?
Only with a doorset that meets the building's fire and smoke requirements, and usually with the freeholder's consent. A non-compliant replacement can put the whole building at risk.
