Our Pontypool supply and fit service
Looking for fire door closers and ironmongery in Pontypool? Our supply and fit service covers NP4 and the surrounding area, including Cwmbran and Risca. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Pontypool surveys with other visits in Gwent, such as Cwmbran and Risca, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Pontypool?
Fire doors in Pontypool are covered by the Welsh Building Regulations guidance for new work and by the Fire Safety Order 2005 for existing premises. Your fire risk assessment will say which doors need replacing and to what rating.
Cost of fire door closers and ironmongery in Gwent
Guide prices for fire door closers and ironmongery in Pontypool run from about £120 to £500 per item, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
