Fire door installation in Bloxwich: how we work
Getting fire door installation right in Bloxwich means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Bloxwich is about 11 miles from Birmingham. Wherever your building is in WS3, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Fire door rules in Bloxwich
Fire doors in Bloxwich sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do fire door installation cost in Bloxwich?
Guide prices for fire door installation in Bloxwich run from about £750 to £1,150 per FD30 doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.

Your questions answered
Can you work around tenants or staff in Bloxwich?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Which rules do fire door installation in Bloxwich need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Bloxwich.
Do you supply fire doors without fitting?
We focus on supply and fit, because certification usually depends on correct installation. Talk to us if you have a contractor-led project.
