Fire doors across Devon
Throughout Devon, including Plymouth, Exeter and Paignton, we survey, quote and fit certified fire doorsets as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
Devon's demand comes from Plymouth's post-war city centre and naval estate, Exeter's offices and student housing, and coastal hotels.
Fire door rules in Devon
Fire doors in Devon sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.

Questions about fire doors in Devon
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset.
Do you cover the whole of Devon?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire doors across Devon, including Plymouth, Exeter and Paignton.
How quickly can you survey in Devon?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine visits with other work in Devon. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
