Our service in Plymstock
Fire Rated Doors covers Plymstock and the surrounding Devon area with complete certified doorsets: FD30 and FD30S for flats and corridors, FD60 for compartment walls, steel doors for plant and exits.
Where possible we combine Plymstock surveys with other visits in Devon, such as Plymouth and Paignton, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Plymstock?
In Plymstock, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Devon's demand comes from Plymouth's post-war city centre and naval estate, Exeter's offices and student housing, and coastal hotels.
