Acoustic fire doors in Lancashire: how we work
Across Lancashire we handle acoustic fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
Which rules apply in Lancashire?
Because Lancashire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do acoustic fire doors cost in Lancashire?
Budget around £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset for acoustic fire doors supplied and fitted in Lancashire, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Where acoustic fire doors are used in Lancashire

Which rules apply in Lancashire?
