Steel Fire Doors for Lancashire buildings
We supply and fit steel fire doors across Lancashire, including Preston, Burnley and Blackburn. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
What the law says in Lancashire
Because Lancashire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of steel fire doors in Lancashire
Expect roughly £1,100–£2,600 per single doorset for steel fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Lancashire quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.

Steel fire doors in Lancashire: questions
Do you cover the whole of Lancashire?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit steel fire doors across Lancashire, including Preston, Burnley and Blackburn.
Can you fit just one door?
Yes — from a single door to a full building.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Are steel fire doors better than timber?
Not better — different. Steel suits heavy-use, external and high-rating locations; timber suits most internal doors.
