Getting commercial fire doors fitted in Lancashire
Our Lancashire service covers commercial fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Preston, Burnley and Blackburn.
Fire door rules in Lancashire
Fire doors in Lancashire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Guide prices in Lancashire
Guide prices for commercial fire doors in Lancashire run from about £850 to £1,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
