Acoustic Fire Doors for Burnley buildings
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Burnley, we provide acoustic fire doorsets with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
We cover BB10 and the surrounding area, including Nelson. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Regulations for acoustic fire doors in Lancashire
Fire doors in Burnley sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.

Common questions in Lancashire
What does a Burnley quote include?
Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Burnley?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Burnley?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Burnley visits with other work in Lancashire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Do acoustic seals affect the fire rating?
They can if untested. We only use seals covered by the doorset's fire evidence.
