Fire exit doors in Lancashire: how we work
Throughout Lancashire, including Preston, Burnley and Blackburn, we survey, quote and fit fire exit doors with panic hardware as complete certified doorsets, with the manufacturer's certificate reference on every quote.
Fire door rules in Lancashire
Fire doors in Lancashire sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do fire exit doors cost in Lancashire?
Guide prices for fire exit doors in Lancashire run from about £1,200 to £2,200 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
