Where possible we combine Wolverhampton surveys with other visits in West Midlands, such as Wednesfield and Willenhall, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for school fire doors in West Midlands
Because Wolverhampton is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
School fire doors prices in Wolverhampton
Guide prices for school fire doors in Wolverhampton run from about £1,100 to £2,400 per doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
