Fire door rules in Hertfordshire
In Hertfordshire, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do riser cupboard fire doors cost in Hertfordshire?
Our guide for riser cupboard fire doors is £550–£950 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Hertfordshire are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
