Double & Leaf-and-a-Half Fire Doors for Surrey buildings
Across Surrey we handle double fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
Regulations for double fire doors in Surrey
Because Surrey is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of double fire doors in Surrey
Budget around £1,600 to £3,400 per pair for double fire doors supplied and fitted in Surrey, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
Where double fire doors are needed
Surrey's commuter towns have many office-to-residential conversions and new apartment schemes, plus independent schools and care homes.
- Cross-corridor openings
