Certified double fire doors for Caterham
Need double fire doors in Caterham? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Surrey, starting with a free measure survey in and around CR3. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central Caterham or on its edges towards Coulsdon, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Fire door rules in Caterham
Because Caterham is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of double fire doors in Surrey
Guide prices for double fire doors in Caterham run from about £1,600 to £3,400 per pair, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
