Our service in Coventry
We supply and fit certified fire doorsets in Coventry for flats, HMOs, homes, workplaces and public buildings — every rating from FD30 to FD120, quoted door by door after a free measure survey.
Where possible we combine Coventry surveys with other visits in West Midlands, such as Kenilworth and Bedworth, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for FD30 fire doors in West Midlands
Because Coventry is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Birmingham has one of the UK's largest collections of residential tower blocks and city-centre apartments, with the Black Country towns adding industry, schools and HMOs.

Questions about fire doors in Coventry
Can you work around tenants or staff in Coventry?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
What does a Coventry quote include?
Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Coventry.
Which rules do fire doors in Coventry need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
