Stairwell fire doors in Coventry: how we work
Getting stairwell fire doors right in Coventry means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Where possible we combine Coventry surveys with other visits in West Midlands, such as Kenilworth and Bedworth, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
What the law says in Coventry
In Coventry, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Our guide for stairwell fire doors is £850–£1,400 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Coventry are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
