Our Coventry supply and fit service
Looking for security fire doors in Coventry? Our supply and fit service covers CV1 and the surrounding area, including Kenilworth and Bedworth. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Our West Midlands coverage includes Coventry and its neighbours Kenilworth, Bedworth and Nuneaton; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Coventry?
Fire doors in Coventry sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Guide prices in Coventry
Expect roughly £1,600–£3,500 per single doorset for security fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Coventry quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
Buildings that need security fire doors
Flat entrance doors and IT and comms rooms are among the most common settings for security fire doors, in Coventry as elsewhere.
Birmingham has one of the UK's largest collections of residential tower blocks and city-centre apartments, with the Black Country towns adding industry, schools and HMOs.

Questions about security fire doors in Coventry
Do you cover Coventry?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit security fire doors throughout Coventry and the rest of West Midlands, including CV1 and nearby Kenilworth.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Coventry?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Which rules do security fire doors in Coventry need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Does my insurer need a specific rating?
Often for commercial premises. Tell us the grade and we'll propose a doorset certified to it.
