Getting commercial fire doors fitted in Coventry
Need commercial fire doors in Coventry? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across West Midlands, starting with a free measure survey in and around CV1. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Where possible we combine Coventry surveys with other visits in West Midlands, such as Kenilworth and Bedworth, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for commercial fire doors in West Midlands
Fire doors in Coventry sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
