Fire rated glazed screens in Cumbria: how we work
Our Cumbria service covers fire rated glazed screens for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Carlisle, Barrow-in-Furness and Kendal.
Which rules apply in Cumbria?
In Cumbria, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Cumbria?
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Cumbria, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
