Getting FD60 fire doors fitted in West Sussex
Across West Sussex we handle FD60 fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
What the law says in West Sussex
In West Sussex, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in West Sussex
Our guide for FD60 fire doors is £1,050–£1,650 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for West Sussex are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
