What's included in a doorset price
Our guide prices include the certified doorset (leaf, frame, seals and standard ironmongery), installation, and removal of the old door where it's a replacement. VAT is added at the standard rate.
What pushes the price up
- Non-standard sizes and made-to-measure doorsets
- Real-wood veneers and special finishes
- Vision panels, especially insulating glass
- Security ratings and access control
- Pairs, fanlights and side screens
- Difficult access or out-of-hours working
Why cheap fire doors cost more later
A low-cost leaf hung in an old frame without evidence can fail inspection and need replacing again. Paying for a certified doorset fitted properly is usually cheaper over the door's life.
