Certified fire rated glazed screens for Suffolk
We supply and fit fire rated glazed screens across Suffolk, including Ipswich, Lowestoft and Bury St Edmunds. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
Which rules apply in Suffolk?
In Suffolk, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in Suffolk
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Suffolk, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
