Getting fire rated glazed screens fitted in Felixstowe
We fit fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights in Felixstowe and the rest of Suffolk. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Our Suffolk coverage includes Felixstowe and its neighbours Harwich, Ipswich and Clacton-on-Sea; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Felixstowe?
In Felixstowe, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
