Certified fire rated glazed screens for Bedford
We cover Bedford and nearby Ampthill for fire rated glazed screens, with surveys booked around your building's access and occupancy. Each door is quoted individually, so you can see what every opening costs and why.
Bedford is about 18 miles from Luton; we cover both, along with Ampthill, St Neots and Rushden.
What the law says in Bedford
Because Bedford is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Fire rated glazed screens prices in Bedford
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Bedford, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
