Our St Neots supply and fit service
We fit fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights in St Neots and the rest of Cambridgeshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Our Cambridgeshire coverage includes St Neots and its neighbours Huntingdon, Bedford and Rushden; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
What the law says in St Neots
Because St Neots is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in St Neots
Expect roughly £1,400–£4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens, fitted, ex VAT. Your St Neots quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Where fire rated glazed screens are needed
Corridor borrowed lights and doors with fanlights are among the most common settings for fire rated glazed screens, in St Neots as elsewhere.
