Our Powys supply and fit service
Our Powys service covers fire door installation for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Newtown and Brecon.
What the law says in Powys
In Powys the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
Fire door installation prices in Powys
Our guide for fire door installation is £750–£1,150 per FD30 doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Powys are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Buildings that need fire door installation
