Getting FD60 fire doors fitted in Leicestershire
Across Leicestershire we handle FD60 fire doors for single doors and whole-building programmes alike — survey, fixed quote, certified doorsets and careful installation.
Fire door rules in Leicestershire
Because Leicestershire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Leicestershire
Our guide for FD60 fire doors is £1,050–£1,650 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Leicestershire are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
