Flat Entrance Fire Doors for Leicestershire buildings
Our Leicestershire service covers flat entrance fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Leicester, Loughborough and Hinckley.
Which rules apply in Leicestershire?
New and replacement fire doors in Leicestershire are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
Guide prices in Leicestershire
Budget around £1,250 to £2,300 per door for flat entrance fire doors supplied and fitted in Leicestershire, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.

Yes — from a single door to a full building.
Do you cover the whole of Leicestershire?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit flat entrance fire doors across Leicestershire, including Leicester, Loughborough and Hinckley.
Does a flat entrance door need a letterbox?
No. Many blocks avoid letterplates altogether. Where one is wanted, it must be fire-rated and tested in that doorset.
