Fire doors in Ampthill
In Ampthill we fit fire doors for freeholders, managing agents, landlords, businesses and homeowners. Each job starts with a free survey in MK45 and ends with a handover pack for your records.
Ampthill is about 11 miles from Luton. Wherever your building is in MK45, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Regulations for FD30 fire doors in Bedfordshire
Because Ampthill is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Bedfordshire mixes Luton's dense housing and town-centre flats with Bedford's Victorian terraces, many now converted to flats and HMOs.
